Neoderma offers the full Juvéderm collection and the RHA collection of hyaluronic-acid fillers at our Anaheim clinic — restoring lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, and smile lines with immediate, reversible results. What can dermal fillers treat?
Dermal fillers restore volume the face loses with age and sculpt features that were never there to begin with. At Neoderma we treat:
- ✓Thin or asymmetric lips
- ✓Flattened cheeks & midface volume loss
- ✓Chin projection & facial balancing
- ✓Jawline definition (Volux XC)
- ✓Nasolabial folds (smile lines)
- ✓Marionette lines & downturned mouth corners
- ✓Fine lines around the lips
- ✓Non-surgical nose reshaping
For full-face rejuvenation, filler is the foundation of our signature Liquid Facelift — a strategic combination of filler and Botox that lifts and refreshes without surgery.
How do hyaluronic-acid fillers work?
Juvéderm and RHA are made of hyaluronic acid (HA) — a sugar molecule your skin already produces that binds water and gives youthful skin its plumpness. Injected as a smooth gel, HA restores volume instantly, then integrates with your tissue for a soft, natural feel. Results are visible the moment you sit up, refine over about two weeks as swelling settles, and — unlike permanent fillers — are fully reversible with an enzyme called hyaluronidase.
Which Juvéderm filler is right for me?
Juvéderm, made by Allergan Aesthetics, is the world's best-known filler family — a range of gels in different thicknesses, each engineered for a specific area. Every XC product comes premixed with lidocaine for comfort. Your injector will match the product to your anatomy and goals:
| Juvéderm product | Best for | Typically lasts | Per syringe |
|---|---|---|---|
| Voluma XC | Deep cheek volume & chin augmentation | Up to 2 years | $925 |
| Volux XC | Jawline definition — the first & only FDA-approved HA filler for the jawline | Up to 1 year | $950 |
| Vollure XC | Nasolabial folds, marionette lines & corners of the mouth | Up to 18 months | $795 |
| Ultra Plus XC | Fuller lips & deeper smile lines — the highest HA concentration | Up to 12 months | $695 |
| Ultra XC | Classic lip enhancement | Up to 12 months | $695 |
| Volbella XC | Subtle lip volume & fine lip lines | Up to 12 months | $795 |
What is the RHA collection?
RHA stands for Resilient Hyaluronic Acid — a newer generation of filler from Swiss laboratory Teoxane, and the first HA collection FDA-approved for dynamic wrinkles and folds. Its gentler manufacturing process preserves longer HA chains, so the gel stretches and rebounds with your expressions instead of sitting stiffly beneath them. The result looks natural not just at rest, but while you talk, smile, and laugh — which is exactly where traditional fillers tend to give themselves away. We carry the full range, from RHA Redensity for delicate lip lines to RHA 4 for deeper folds and contour.
Juvéderm vs. RHA — which should I choose?
Neither is better — they excel at different jobs. Juvéderm is our workhorse for building volume and structure: cheeks, chin, jawline, and classic lip enhancement. RHA shines in high-movement areas — around the mouth and in expression lines — where its stretch keeps results invisible in motion. Many of our treatment plans combine both.
| Juvéderm | RHA Collection | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Volume & contour — cheeks, chin, jawline, lips | Dynamic areas that move — expression lines, lips, folds |
| Character | Widest product range; each gel tuned to one area | Resilient gel that stretches & rebounds with movement |
| Typically lasts | 12 months – 2 years by product | Up to 15 months |
| Per syringe | $695–$950 by product | $795 — every RHA filler |
| Made by | Allergan Aesthetics (USA) | Teoxane (Switzerland) / Revance |
| Reversible | Yes — hyaluronidase | Yes — hyaluronidase |
How much do dermal fillers cost in Anaheim?
Dermal filler is priced per syringe. Juvéderm Ultra XC and Ultra Plus XC are $695, Volbella XC and Vollure XC are $795, Voluma XC is $925, and Volux XC is $950. Every filler in the RHA collection — Redensity, RHA 2, 3, and 4 — is a flat $795 per syringe.

At your free consultation you'll get a written plan — product choice, syringe count, and total — before anything is injected.

Does it hurt? What about downtime?
Most clients rate filler a 2–4 out of 10. Every Juvéderm XC and RHA syringe comes premixed with lidocaine, and we add topical numbing cream before we start. Appointments take 15–45 minutes and you can go straight back to your day — expect some swelling (lips especially) and possible pinpoint bruising for 24–72 hours.
Aftercare: avoid for 24 hours
- ✕Strenuous exercise
- ✕Alcohol
- ✕Saunas, hot tubs & hot yoga
- ✕Pressure on the treated area (massages, sleeping face-down)
Honest safety note: filler is a medical procedure. Bruising and temporary lumpiness are common and resolve; serious complications like vascular occlusion are rare but real, which is why filler belongs in the hands of medical providers who know facial anatomy and stock hyaluronidase for immediate correction. That is the standard of care at Neoderma.
Can filler be dissolved or corrected?
Yes — this is one of the biggest advantages of hyaluronic-acid fillers, and one of our most requested appointments. Hyaluronidase dissolves Juvéderm and RHA within days, fully or partially. If you were overfilled at another office, we can often dissolve just enough to keep the shape you like. And because we inject conservatively in the first place, our own patients rarely need it.
Dissolving is priced at $350 per 1 mL of hyaluronidase. Your provider confirms exactly how much you need at your consultation.
Why choose Neoderma for filler in Orange County?
Filler results are 10% product and 90% injector. Our medical team — nurses, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners — trains under Dr. Sal Nadkarni, DO, who worked on clinical trials at Allergan, the maker of Juvéderm, before becoming a Global Medical Director. We've been enhancing faces in Anaheim since 2001, and our philosophy has never changed: results your friends notice, but can't name.
✓Licensed & certified medical providers. Every injection at Neoderma is performed by a licensed, certified medical professional — never a technician.

Dermal filler FAQ
How long do dermal fillers last?
It depends on the product and the area. Lip fillers like Juvéderm Ultra XC and Volbella XC typically last up to 12 months. Vollure XC lasts up to 18 months in smile lines, and Voluma XC can last up to 2 years in the cheeks. RHA fillers last up to 15 months.
Will I look overdone or “filled”?
Not at Neoderma. Our philosophy is a naturally refreshed look — we enhance your own proportions rather than change them. We often recommend starting conservatively; you can always add more at a follow-up visit, and hyaluronic-acid filler can be dissolved if you ever change your mind.
Does getting filler hurt?
Most clients rate it a 2–4 out of 10. Every Juvéderm XC and RHA product comes premixed with lidocaine, and we apply topical numbing cream before injecting. Lips are the most sensitive area; cheeks and jawline are usually very comfortable.
What is the downtime after filler?
You can return to normal activities immediately. Expect some swelling and possible pinpoint bruising for 24–72 hours — lips swell the most and settle within a few days. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and heat (saunas, hot yoga) for 24 hours after treatment.
Can you fix or dissolve filler I got somewhere else?
Yes. Because Juvéderm and RHA are hyaluronic-acid fillers, they can be dissolved with hyaluronidase — fully or partially. Correcting overfilled or uneven work from other offices is one of our most requested appointments, and we can often preserve the shape you like while dissolving the rest.
Juvéderm or RHA — which filler is better?
Neither is “better” — they excel at different things. Juvéderm offers the widest range for building volume and contour in the cheeks, chin, jawline, and lips. RHA is designed for dynamic areas that move when you talk and smile, so it stays natural-looking in motion. Many treatment plans combine both.
How much do dermal fillers cost in Anaheim?
Dermal filler at Neoderma is priced per syringe: Juvéderm Ultra XC and Ultra Plus XC are $695, Volbella XC and Vollure XC are $795, Voluma XC is $925, and Volux XC is $950. Every RHA filler — Redensity, RHA 2, 3, and 4 — is $795. Most first-time lip treatments use one syringe; cheeks typically use 2 or more. Allē members get $75 off Juvéderm, and financing is available through Cherry and CareCredit.
Do you do half syringes?
No. A syringe can't be split between visits or shared between patients — medically, that would mean sharing another person's blood and DNA, which isn't sterile or safe. It's also not legal in the State of California. Every patient gets a fresh, sealed, single-use syringe, and anything not used is discarded, never saved or reused.
Will you show me the actual filler products being injected?
Yes — always. We believe in full transparency, so we show you every product going into your face: the sealed, authentic, brand-name syringe (Juvéderm or RHA), straight from the manufacturer, before we inject it. We don't hide anything from you. If you go to any other practice, you should always request to see the authentic products — if a price seems too good to be true, it often is, and suspiciously cheap filler can be counterfeit, diluted, or improperly stored.
